For McGraw Hill Education’s new office expansion in Chicago, the design sought to embody both the company’s heritage and its forward-looking role as a leader in educational content.
Inspired by the spirit of books and the act of discovery, the concept was shaped around “books and nooks” — creating moments throughout the workplace for focused study, collaboration, and reflection. The layout weaves these spaces into a cohesive environment that fosters connection while offering areas for quiet retreat.
Material selections were refined, professional, and timeless, reinforcing McGraw Hill’s identity as a trusted educational resource for students and educators. The result is a workplace that reflects both the city of Chicago and the enduring values of learning and knowledge.
